The Association of Geologists and Mining Engineers of Cyprus in collaboration with the Hellenic Committee of Hydrogeology member of the Geological Society of Greece organize the 12th International Hydrogeological Conference, which will take place on October 14 to October 16 2021, in Nicosia (Lefkosia), Cyprus at Cleopatra Hotel.<\/p>\n
The 12th International Hydrogeological Conference envisages in convening people from academia, private and public sectors, dealing with all aspects of groundwater. It will be held under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of the Republic of Cyprus and it is supported by the Geological Survey Department of Cyprus and Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber.
\nThis conference aims in gathering and disseminating knowledge and good practices on dealing with increasing pressures and challenges on groundwater resources, protection and management, in our ever-changing environment driven by climate change.<\/p>\n
The presentations of the conference will take place in Nicosia (Lefkosia), Cyprus from October 14 to October 15 2021, at Cleopatra Hotel. On Saturday, October 16th, a field trip at Troodos, UNESCO Global Geopark which is considered as a unique world geological heritage natural site, will be organized.<\/p>\n
