Valentina Phinikettou

Ms. Valentina Phinikettou has graduated from the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holds a master’s degree in Environmental Conservation and Management, while since 2018 she is a PhD candidate in the Chemical Engineering and Sustainability Engineering laboratory of the Environmental Management and Protection program of OUC. Ms. Phinikettou started her professional career as a geologist in a construction materials testing laboratory, but her continuous training, her love for Geosciences and hard work has led her to start up a Building Materials and Geotechnical Investigation Laboratory in 2018, where she works the as a Quality Manager. She actively participates in many Scientific Bodies of Cyprus such as the Association of Geologists & Mineralogists of Cyprus, the Cypriot Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering while she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pan-Cypriot Association of Environmental Engineers and Sciences (PASMEP), member of the Limassol Regional Committee (PEL) of ETEK, member of ETEK’s geologists’ committee and approved instructor by ANAD.
